As a child I was always told that the Catholic Church is 99% human and 1% divine. Now, I can only hope that these revelations will compel all of us – whether religious or not – to look within ourselves at our own dirty secrets, to confront the inhumanity that remains inextricably bound up with our own humanity.  “Let he who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.” (John 8:7).
